    Mid-Atlantic Packaging Attends Inaugural ‘All Star’ Craft Beer and Wine Festival at Citizens Bank Park

    The inaugural All Star Craft Beer and Wine Festival was held Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. More than 11,000 attendees soaked in the perfect weather while also soaking up over 200 different product offerings from both national and local microbreweries, craft distillers and wineries.

    Guests had the opportunity to clown it up with the Phillie Phanatic, run the bases in a real big-league ball park while listening to great live music from local acts. Those in attendance also had the opportunity to polish up their beer IQ with beer education seminars held throughout the day.

    Attendees also supported two great charities: The Barkann Family Healing Hearts Foundation whose mission is to provide financial aid to families who are in need, due to recent adversity or tragedy such as sudden death or illness of a parent or child or the loss of a home or property due to fire, flood or disaster. Other proceeds were also donated to the Fraternal Order of Police Survivors Fund that helps families of fallen officers.

    Fun and Games

    Mid-Atlantic Packaging was on-hand not only to meet with vendors and distributors but also to have a little fun! Our team set up a Cards Against Humanity Wheel in our booth where we played a version of the irreverent card game with visitors and awarded some amazing prizes for the best answers!

    Among the prizes were:
    * Four cans of Heady Topper, a premium double IPA made by The Alchemist Brewery of Stowe, Vermont
    * Phillies merchandise
    * Liberty Bell and Philadelphia-themed displays to show off bottle cap collections
    * A decorative print featuring a reproduction of the original patent for the baseball glove

    In addition to meeting with lots of fun people, MAP also had an opportunity to show off some of the work we’ve done for existing clients in the beer, wine and distilling industries.

    One of the most popular displays was our five-color packaging which showcases our ability to design visually arresting and functional packaging for beer in both cans and bottles. We also showed off full display options for craft breweries, distinctive wineries and premium distillers.

    We had a great time and can’t wait for next year!
