Packaging
Unilever Unilever was trying to increase their company's sustainable efforts and came to Mid-Atlantic Packaging, Inc. for a solution.

MAP'S SOLUTION:
Not every sustainable solution begins with fiber reduction. By problem solving "The Big Picture" we often find that packaging components can be reduced. In order to maximize the benefits of case automation, it is important for us to design with labor-reduction in mind. With some simple structural modifications we increased this display case's efficiency and sustainability by nearly 40%.

Unilever Just Born was looking for sustainable design solutions and turned to the talented structural designers at Mid-Atlantic Packaging, Inc.

MAP'S SOLUTION:
We consider every option when it comes to sustainable designs. In this Just Born display, the easy, side-loading feature ensures that the same display is used multiple times, as opposed to being discarded once the product has been sold.

Unilever Ricola was looking to maximize product capacity and asked the structural designers at MAP to provide them with a solution.

MAP'S SOLUTION:
Every new project undergoes an analytical process to determine if it is a candidate for enhanced sustainability. More often than not, a carton or display can be tweaked to minimize fiber usage and maximize product capacity. Though we added only 3.7% more board to this Ricola cough drop display, it yielded an incredible 20% increase in product capacity.
