Mid-Atlantic Packaging's Patented Slide Corner SLIDE CORNER

An anti-nesting feature applied to a roll over case that increases stacking strength. The Slide Corner automatically functions when the case is opened without any additional gluing. This feature is placed opposite the working scores, usually in conjunction with the Stretch Corner, patent: 6158,653.

An anti-nesting feature applied to a roll over case that increases stacking strength. The Stretch Corner is formed by folding part of the rolled material over the working scores and gluing to the adjacent panels, usually in conjunction with the Slide Corner, patent: 6,874,679.

ANTI-NESTING

A collection of anti-nesting features (pop-out, extended slide, almond corner) assist to successfully stack corrugated containers without a top covering. In addition, these corners do not require any additional gluing or retail set-up apart from a normal Full-Rollover case.

DISPLAY READY

The design has an outer cover wrapped and glued to an inner case. The inner case may be a Full-Rollover, HSC, or quad case. The outer wrap protects the inner case and is easily removed at retail to display. It may be combined with anti-nesting features.

The design allows for a shelf to be formed by the rollover section of the case. The patent offers an improved aesthetic and conservation of space that conventional bumper style cases lack. Ideal for loose bag items or form-fitting product.

This design is to ship and display loose bulk product easily and effectively. The specialty opening is constructed by a dropped pad and captured by bumpers rolled over the side panels. A center divider may be added to display multiple products.
